Patient Care Technicians who have completed a Patient Care Technician program or practical experience in the field and who have completed at least 30 venipunctures and 10 live EKGs may register to sit for the CPCT certification exam. The CPCT certification exam has 100 multiple-choice questions with a 120-minute time limit.
